Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo held its ‘Centenary Walk 2017’ recently on a grand scale. It was organised by the Visakha Vidyalaya Old Girls’ Association to mark the grand 100 years of excellence.
The Walk started off from the school grounds. Visakhians, young and old, gathered at the school premises as they joined in from all parts of the country and from overseas to conquer the streets to spell out the school name and to enjoy the after-walk food and music to share the excitement and joy of their Alma Mater reaching a century. The Walk included a vehicle parade and the school band.
