A dictionary will not be a favourite book for everyone. But I like dictionaries. The Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary is the new 8th edition and it's a large book endorsed and printed by the Oxford University Press in India. It's my favourite book. Everyone doesn't get the maximum use of a dictionary. A dictionary can be a useful tool in our day to day life with the complexity of being involved in many activities. Difficult words as well as simple words can be found in a dictionary. But my dictionary is composed of a large number of words as well as visual vocabulary and the Oxford writing tutor. The writing tutor presents how to write letters, paragraphs and essays. The visual vocabulary represents the pictures of animals, flowers, plants and trees and the body parts of a human.
Another feature can be seen in this dictionary. It's a CD containing the information of how to improve the writing skills in English language. By using this CD we can gain knowledge on using English in a proper way. Although there are many dictionaries in different languages such as French and German, English dictionaries are the most famous among them.
