My village is Karandeniya. It is located in the Galle district in the Southern province. It has Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim people. All the races live in harmony in my village. There are four religions which are followed in my village. They are Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism and Islam. The main school in my village is G/Karandeniya Central College. There are many temples in my village. Galagoda temple which has South Asia’s largest reclining statue is the biggest temple. I love my village very much.
