The Installation Ceremony of the office bearers of the Interact Club of the British School in Colombo (BCS) for the Academic year 2016-2017 was held on recently at the school auditorium with Dinali Dandeniya, the President of the Rotary Club of Colombo Metropolitan and Kisaniy De Seram, the Representative of Youth Services for the British School as guests. Principal Dr. John Scarth and Deputy Principal, Simon Harwood graced the occasion.
The event began with the lighting of the oil lamp, followed by the Interact pledge and Invocation, addresses, installation, pinning of badges and ended with Interaction. Crystal Kuthoor took the baton from Josua Samaranayake as President for the year ahead. Under Samaranayake, the Interact Club moved forward steadily last year and will continue to grow with many more activities on the cards for the ensuing year.
