Second Prize
One of my favourite books is The BFG. It is written by Roald Dahl and illustrated by Sir Quentin Blake. It was originally published by Jonathan Cape in 1982. The BFG is about a Big Friendly Giant as the name suggests. The story tells us about how the BFG, with the help of his friend Sophie, a human girl, defeats nine enormous, horrible, man-eating giants. This epic adventure gives amazing wonders to the reader. This story is read all over the world because it is wonderful, amazing and 'whoopsy-spunklers' as Roald Dahl describes it.
