Sujathians shine! Nipuna Prathibha 2016

The golden jubilee finale of Sujatha Vidyalaya, Nugegoda titled Nipuna Prathibha was held at the BMICH, Colombo recently, an annual event organised by the school’s Aesthetic Department. Nipuna Prathiba provided the opportunity for students to showcase their dancing, singing and acting talents.

Around 1,500 students participated in this event. Students of Sujatha Pre-School, Maharagama and Nugegoda and Highlands College, Maharagama which come under the Management of Sujatha Vidyalaya also participated.

Students of Royal College, Colombo and D.S. Senanayake College, Colombo entertained the audience. Teacher-in-charge of the event, senior sectional head Sanjeewani Perera organized the event with the support of teachers of the Aesthetic Department and the Media Unit.

Thai Ambassador to Sri Lanka Nopporn Adichariyawanich was the chief guest while Japanese Embassy Public Relations and Cultural Exchange Affairs First Secretary Masaki Takaoka was the guest of honour. Actor Sathischandra Edirisinghe and Japanese Embassy's Cultural and Information Specialist Nayomi Wijesekara were the special guests. Here are some highlights of the concert.
