A visit to Galle Face

We spent our long weekend at our uncle’s house in Colombo. Last Saturday we visited Galle Face. Many vehicles were parked. There was a large crowd. We didn’t see young boys and girls playing cricket and football like other days because they were flying kites. Father bought a kite for me. I flew my kite. It was very funny. There were many kites dancing in the sky. There were a few stalls selling chocolates, sweets and snacks. We bought ice cream. We saw the sunset. It became dark and we returned home. I enjoyed the visit very much.
