A young mother of two (25) has died of being hit by lightning in Thoduwawa area, Chilaw.
The dead woman has been identified as Thilini Madushani, the wife of a super star singer, Dulaj Ashen.
According to the Kurunegala Police 13 persons including several school children have died being struck by lightning during past eight months.
The police has urged residents of the area to take preventive measures.
