The GCE Advanced Level examination will be conducted island-wide from August 8 to September 2. The Commissioner General of Examinations, W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara has informed all school heads and private tuition masters countrywide that seminars, workshops and model question paper discussions and distribution of model question papers with regard to the GCE (AL) Examination - 2017 have to cease by August 2.
In a circular to all school heads of the Kurunegala and the Puttalam districts of the NWP, the Commissioner General has emphasized that legal action will be taken against those who violate these regulations, under the laws vested with the Department. About 500 people have been deployed as informants to nab offenders, Pushpakumara said.
