Wildlife officials have found the body of the largest tusker in the Yala National Park known as ‘Dala Kota’, who had been receiving treatment from Wildlife veterinarians for almost two months, in the Lunugamwehera Reservoir. The tusker was about 40 years old and lived mostly in Zone 6 of the Yala National Park. The tusker was the largest elephant in the Yala National Park and was a major attraction of the tourists who came to visit the park.
