The Colombo High Court has ordered the hearing of the case filed against Thilini Priyamali to be taken up before court on 05 and 07 June. The case has been filed against Priyamali, who is being accused of misappropriating an amount ofRs. 8 million rupees after obtaining a vehicle from a person in 2013.
The accused Thilini Priyamali appeared before the court today (28) when the case was called before Colombo High Court Judge Aditya Patabandige.
The lawyers representing Thilini Priyamali said that there is a possibility to reach a settlement on the matter upon making payments
However, the opposing counsel stated as the money which was to be paid today has not yet been paid, a date should be fixed for the hearing of the case.
Accordingly, the High Court judge ordered the case to be heard on 05th and 07th of June and ordered the lawyers of both parties to inform the court on that day if there is a settlement.
