A Japanese company has expressed its willingness to clean and beautify the Colombo Beira Lake free.
The project will cost US$ 3 million and will be completed within six months from the commencement date.
The Japanese company expressed its willingness following a discussion between the President’s Senior Adviser on Climate Change, Ruwan Wijewardene and the company’s representatives at the Presidential Secretariat last week. This follows a request by the Chief Incumbent of the Gangaramaya temple Ven. Dr. Kirinde Assaji Thera.
