The Past Pupils Association of Ave Maria Convent, Negombo, recently handed over the newly refurbished junior science laboratory to the convent. The project, completed at a cost of Rs 6.6 million is the latest PPA’s undertaking. PPA, President Hyacinth Gunawardena, who is also the Executive Director, Jetwing Hotels and Chairperson and immediate past President of the PPA, Anoma Fernando with the Principal Rev. Sr. Shermila Jayawardena at the opening of the Junior Science lab.
