Aselected number of Police officers completed a six-month beginner course of the Russian Language at the Russian Language School of the Russian House in Colombo. They were awarded certificates at the Russian House recently.
Anastasia Khokhlova and Maria Popova, incoming First Secretary of the Russian Embassy and Director of the Russian House in Colombo along with Buddhapriya Ramanayake, Chief Executive Officer of the Russian House in Colombo, Venurika Jayasinghe, Educational and Public Relations Officer of the Russian House in Colombo, Felix Fernando, Russian Language Instructor graced the occasion.
Deputy Inspector General of police, Sajeewa Medawatta, Senior Superintendent of Police, Manjula Mahagirilla, Chief inspector of Police, Panduka Rajakaruna and Director Research Planning and- Police department, Kamini Senaratne also participated.
