Zahira College Colombo held its Colours Night at the College Ghaffoor Hall on August 20 under the patronage of its principal Trizviiy Marikkar.
Consular General for Consulate of Georgia, Dian Gomes, was present as chief guest and presented awards and certificates to the sportsmen in the field of athletics, basketball, boxing, cricket, football, hockey, rugby, chess, karate, shooting, cadeting, swimming and scouting.
MNM Shamaaz received Most Outstanding Sportsman of the Year 2019/2020 Award in the field of cricket from chief guest Consular General of the Consulate of Georgia, Dian Gomes.
School principal Trizviiy Marikkar presented a memento to Gomes at this ceremony. Chairman of the Board of Governors, Fouzul Hameed, Old Boys Association president Alavi Mukthar, secretary Nuzri Munsoor, Board of Governors Sports Council chairman Naina Mohamed, Consultant Prefect of Games M.Z. Farook, deputy principal Razeen Azaan, vice principals A. M. Mihilar, Hijazy Mohideen, teachers, old boys, parents and students were present at the event.
