Lighting the traditional oil lamp by HE Ambassador Qi Zhenhong
Sri Lanka celebrated the fifth World Wushu Kung FU Day at the Independent Square in Colombo as the Wushu Federation of Sri Lanka organized a grand demonstration of events with the support of the embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sri Lanka.
The Chief Guest was Qi Zhenhong and Guest of Honours were Ruwanchandra, Secretary of Ministry of Ports and Shipping, Arjuna Ranatunga, newly appointed Chairman of the National Sports Council, Maxwell de Silva, Secretary General of National Olympic Committee, Amal Edirisuriya, Director General of Sports and Zhang Yingbao, the Cultural Counsellor of the Chinese embassy.
