Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa was admitted to a private hospital in Colombo yesterday due to the viral flu, SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara confirmed.

Premadasa was supposed to lead the Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB) activists in yesterday’s protests calling for the immediate resignation of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
