China donates goods worth Rs. 330 m

China handed over another stock of goods to the value of Rs. 330 million to the government to be distributed among the flood affected people yesterday. The goods including 20,000 life jackets, 20,000 blankets, 5000 bed sheets, 600 tents and 3,000 water-proof shoes were brought to Sri Lank by a special cargo flight operated by Air China. Chinese Ambassador in Sri Lanka handed over the goods to Foreign Minister Ravi Karunanayake and Disaster Management Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
