Joes spinner bags 10 wickets in gripping draw against Wesley

Off spinner Lahiru Amarasekara had a match bag of ten wickets as St Joseph’s College took major honours in their inter school cricket fixture against Wesley College which ended in a gripping draw at Darley Road yesterday.

St. Joseph’s made 404 for 5 wickets declared and bowled out Wesley for 174 in their first innings.

Following-on Wesley were left struggling at 78 for 8 wickets at close as Amarasekara was the chief wrecker taking 6 for 30 and 4 for 14 in both innings.
