Urban Citizens marks Women's Day

Urban Citizens, a civil society movement comprising professionals, academics and entrepreneurs held their Women’s day event under the theme, ‘Women’s contribution to build a better society’, at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute yesterday. The Prime Minister’s wife Shiranthi Rajapaksa was the chief guest. Here the Chairperson of Urban Citizens Sharmila Gonawala welcomes the Prime Minister’s wife to the event.
