Seasonal Celebration for Enduring Bonds - 2022

Guided by the Information Office of the State Council and jointly sponsored by the Information Office of the People’s Government of Yunnan Province and the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Yunnan Province, Seasonal Celebration for Enduring Bonds: 2022 Spring Festival Cultural Events are coming soon from January 31st-February 15 in an offline and online merged manner.

Activities such as online interaction, transnational Spring Festival Gala and cultural exhibition will be held to send sincere wishes to overseas friends and compatriots abroad.

Seasonal Celebration for Enduring Bonds-2022 and Spring Festival Cultural Events are rich and colourful, including “Lighting Up the Spring Sky” Launch Ceremony, “Spring Awakening: International Spring Festival Gala”, “Spring Reunion: New Year-themed Documentaries”, “Unique Cuisine for the Spring Festival Vlog Series” sumptuous food and dishes prepared for the Lunar New Year, Elephants to Yunnan -- video and picture exhibition themed on “Beautiful China, Colourful Yunnan”.

Leaders of CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee, the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia and the leaders of the relevant departments in Sri Lanka and Malaysia will send New Year greetings to people at home and abroad.

The innovation of this activity will be launched by lighting the Kunming of China, Colombo of Sri Lanka and Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia. Representatives from all walks of life in these three places will gather in “cloud” together to usher in “a Hopeful Spring” and express their expectations and good wishes for the New Year.

On the Chinese New Year’s Eve, the transnational Spring Festival Gala themed on “Spring Awakening” will also be officially launched.

This gala is divided into six chapters: spring start, spring ploughing, spring banquet, spring joy, spring flower and spring glow, attracting artists from China, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and other countries to participate in the performance;

The programs include dances, songs, sound works and other forms of art.
