The Sri Lanka Association of Administrative and Professional Secretaries will celebrate the Administrative Professionals Week, ‘APW 2017’, during the week commencing April, 24.
APW highlights the important role of administrative professionals in all sectors of the modern economy worldwide, and is celebrated globally in the last week of April in honour of administrative professionals.
In Sri Lanka SLAAPS has organised several events to mark this important occasion during the period April 24-30.
The Flag Day will commence with the pinning of the first flag on the Ambassador of Brazil, Mrs. Elizabeth-Sophie Balsar at the Embassy.
Scholarships will also be awarded to four deserving students to pursue higher studies in the secretarial field at a leading institution in Colombo.
The four will receive the awards from Mrs. Elizabeth-Sophie Balsar on that day.
The ‘Administrative Professionals Fellowship Night’ will be held on Saturday, April 29 at 5.30 p.m. at the Earls Court, Cinnamon Lakeside, Colombo, graced by the Ambassador of Brazil Mrs. Elizabeth-Sophie Balsar as chief guest.
