PTFERPA sets up emergency call centres

The Presidential Task Force for Economic Revival and Poverty Alleviation (PTFERPA) has set up Emergency Call Centres (ECCs) at each District Secretariat to resolve issues faced by people when travel restrictions are in effect.

The move has been initiated under the directives of the Chairman of the Task Force, Basil Rajapaksa. These emergency call centres are connected to the Presidential Task Force headquarters at Temple Trees. The main operation centre will function under the supervision of the Secretary to the Prime Minister.

People can directly contact their district ECC for redress, if they face any issue or a problem. If officials at district ECCs find it difficult to solve the issues on their own, the officials can refer these cases directly to the Presidential Task Force’s Operation Centre at Temple Trees.
