Chinese economy expanded by 2.3% in year 2020, according to the Chinese Government statistics released on Monday.
During a period of one year when the economy of the other countries went to recession, China economy grew.
The International Monetary Fund predicted that economy of China would grow 1.9% in 2020.
"The performance was better than we had expected," said spokesman for China's National Bureau of Statistics, at a press conference.
