The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal of Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Finance to draft a Sigh Language Bill.
It is to make Sign Language as a recognized means of communication in accessing education, legal matters and health facilities.
The Sign Language was approved to accept as a recognized language on 08.09.2010 by the Cabinet.
