Dharmaraja College shed tears of joy after their season’s first win when they beat D.S. Senanayake College by 45 points (5 goals 2 tries) to 12 (1 goal, 1 try) in their inter-school first round league rugby match played at the Bogambara Stadium yesterday. At half time the winners led 24-12.
The Rajans outplayed D.S. in the second half with their fiery brand of rugby. They put their heart and soul into a superb team effort, to emerge winners. They were always hungry for possession which their forwards carved out in plenty.
