Commissioner General of Examinations B. Sanath Pujitha, in a circular, has asked the Provincial Directors of Education, Ministry of Health and the National Dengue Control Unit to take steps to fumigate GCE(AL) and the Year Five Scholarship Examination centres to prevent the spread dengue fever.
The Year Five Scholarship Examination will be held on October 11 in 2936 centres.
The GCE (AL) Examination will commence at 2,648 centes on October 12 and will end on November 6.
About 362,824 candidates will sit the GCE (AL) examination and about 331,694 candidates will sit the Grade Five Scholarship Examination.
