Pabala Mela 2019, the grand carnival and trade exhibition, organised by the Sri Lanka Light Infantry will be held at the public grounds, Hikkaduwa on December 27 and 28. This is the seventh Pabala Mela to be organised by the regiment, where talented and renowned musical groups are due to perform.
The proceeds of the event will be used to improve the welfare facilities of the families of war heroes and disabled soldiers.
