The most anticipated event in the Travel Trade Sports Club calendar, the cricket Sixes for men and women will be on November 24 at the Steel Corporation ground in Athurugiriya.
The 42nd edition of the tournament is sponsored by Aitken Spence Travels for the 18th successive year.
Entries close on November 13 and should be sent to Gayani Karunaratne, C/o Aitken Spence Travels, 4th Floor, Vauxhall Tower II, Vauxhall Street Colombo 2.
At the previous tournament held last year where 60 teams participated at the Shalika and the Malay grounds, Blue Water, Wadduwa won the men’s title beating Cinnamon Grand, Colombo in the final.
Amaya Lake, Dambulla retained the women’s title beating Heritance Ayurveda Mahagedera, Beruwala.
