The Colours Night of the army’s Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Regiment will be held on October 28 at 3.30 pm at the BMICH under the patronage of the army commander Lt Gen Shavendra Silva. Sportsmen and women belonging to the Electrical and Engineering Regiment who excelled in their disciplines at national and international level from 2011 to 2018 will be bestowed with awards and trophies on the occasion. As many as 164 sports personalities will be bestowed with honours at the ceremony while coaches of the award winners will also be recognised.
