The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) has made arrangements to host the inaugural Invitational Inter Nations Golf Tournament on March 31.According to the organisers the event will attract top international amateur and social golfers and the winner will be awarded the NEGC Invitational Inter Nations Trophy for 2018.
Organisers say they have also lined up air tickets and travel packages for all golfers who compete in the many individual competitions.There will be no registration fee according to the organisers.The NEGC has the oldest golf course in Sri Lanka with a history dating back to the British in 1889.It has an 18-hole course and is 6399 yards long.
