G.C.E.O/L exam from Dec. 12 to 21

The G.C.E.O/L Examination -2017 is scheduled to be held from December 12 to 21. Approximately, 688,573 candidates are qualified to sit the examination. Accordingly, 429,493 school candidates and 259,080 private candidates would sit the examination this year, under both, the old and new syllabuses at 5,116 centres countrywide. Director of Education, Kurunegala, W.M.Balasooriya said.He requested school heads to educate candidates on the importance of adhering to the rules and regulations of the examination and that violating them would result in the suspension of their examination results.
