N.N. Nethmini Mendis of 374B/1-1, Aluthmawatha Road, Bathgammulla, Ragama, aged 32 years, a mother of a four-year old son, is suffering from acute renal disease. She has been diagnosed to have end stage renal disease.
Consultant Nephrologist Dr. Anura Hewageegana of the National Institute for Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation, Colombo 10 has recommended a kidney transplant as the most appropriate treatment option for her survival.
