Marking the beginning of official school journalism, the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (Lake House), the flagship newspaper company in Sri Lanka joined hands with Rangiri Dambulla National School to launch its official newspaper “Vidu Piyasa” and its e-newspaper at a ceremony held at the school auditorium on August 29 under the patronage of Lake House, Director Finance Dr. Sunil Jayantha Nawarathne and Principal W. M. J. B. Wijesinghe. Here Dr.Nawarathne and school Principal Wijesinghe launch the “Vidu Piyasa” e-newspaper. Ahasa Media Network’s Sri Lankan Top 100 Awards Ceremony was held at the BMICH, Colombo recently.  The awards were presented in various fields such as education, sports, culture, arts, media, business, social service, bridal dressing, graphic designing, drama, films, etc. It was held under the patronage Ahasa Media Network CEO Mrs. Priyanga Bandaranaike for the third consecutive year. ANCL journalists Rasika Somarathna (Daily News), Sumudu Chathurani Jayawardena (Silumina) and V.
