National television settles half of CEB bill

The national television recently paid Rs. 25 million out of the outstanding Rs. 52 million electricity bill that should have been paid to the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).

National television Chairman, Dr. Prasad Samarasinghe has reached an agreement with the CEB to pay the remaining amount in full next month.

After taking over as the new Chairman of national television, Dr. Samarasinghe, through the new administrative methods has taken steps to resolve the problems of the institution.
