The former officers of the Army Officers’ Training School (OTS) recently celebrated their 43rd anniversary with a trip to Jaffna.
These officers have done a yeomen service to the nation at the height of the Eelam war.
Many of these officers remained with the Army throughout the 33-year war, taking the brunt of it.
Therefore, their visit to Jaffna was a special one as they could reminisce the memories of the war during their youth. More significantly, this trip to Jaffna coincided with a CSR project as the team ventured out to a less privileged school, distributing school books.
