President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s visit to India from July 20-21 will witness the signing of five agreements that will have a substantial impact on both countries.
The confirmation was made by Indian High Commissioner, Gopal Baglay, during his meeting with the President’s Chief of Staff, Sagala Ratnayake.
The Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra also informed Ratnayake about these agreements during their interaction in Colombo recently. These agreements will foster and strengthen the friendship between India and Sri Lanka, and promote economic cooperation between the two nations.
