The Litro Gas Lanka Limited, one of the main suppliers of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has slashed the prices of all the three kinds of domestic gas cylinders with effect from midnight yesterday (4).
Litro Gas Lanka Chairman Muditha Peiris said the new price of a 12.5 kg domestic LP gas cylinder stands below Rs.3,000. Accordingly, the price of a 12.5 kg domestic LP gas cylinder now stands at Rs.2,982. It is revealed that this is the fourth consecutive price reduction of domestic LP gas cylinders by Litro Gas Lanka Limited.
According to the Chairman, the new prices of 5kg and 2.3kg domestic LP gas cylinders are Rs.1,198 and Rs.561.
Revised prices are as follows:
12.5kg cylinder - Rs. 2,982 (reduced by Rs.204)
5kg cylinder - Rs. 1,198 (reduced by Rs.83)
2.3kg cylinder - Rs. 561 (reduced by Rs.37)
