Inflation drops to 12% in June

Inflation, which was recorded as 25.2 percent in May this year, has dropped to 12 percent in June.

Two years later, the Year-on-Year inflation of the food group has come down to a single-digit level from 21.5 percent in May 2023 to 4.1 percent in June 2023.

The Central Bank also says that the Year-on-Year inflation of the non-food group has further decreased from 27.0 percent in May 2023 to 16.2 percent in June 2023.
