Mahanama hosted by Sylvestrians
It should be a close battle for supremacy when St. Sylvester’s College clash with Mahanama College in their schools rugby encounter at the Bogambara Stadium this evening.
St. Sylvester’s College possess a set of speedy three-quarters who can penetrate the defence which Mahanama will have to contend with.
Mahanama are in good form and their forte is their power-packed set of forwards while their backs are also capable.
In today’s game both teams are expected to go flat out.

The Kandy schools Division I segment rugby matches for next week are; July 8; St. Anthony’s College vs Wesley College at Welisara, Vidyartha College vs Dharmaraja College at Bogambara Stadium, Trinity College vs St. Peter’s College at Pallekelle and on July 9; Kingswood College vs St. Joseph’s College at Pallekelle.
