BMICH engages with PickMe for customer pick-up and drop off points

The PickMe platform is one of every Sri Lankan’s most used mobile applications today.

PickMe has identified BMICH as one of the highest customer trips generating locations in the country. BMICH being Sri Lanka’s largest conference and event premises.It is comprehensible for PickMe to experience higher passenger rides, from the BMICH.

The PickMe and BMICH managements have decided to make a seamless process for customer pick-ups and drop-offs at BMICH which will increase convenience for passengers and drivers while reducing traffic congestion within the premises. These points are now visible for passengers and drivers at the BMICH premises and within the mobile App.

On June 16 a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between both parties in the presence of Chief Operations Officer, Isira Perera Head of Corporate Solutions and Business Development, Nuzrath Nazar and Head of Driver Acquisitions and Colombo District Manager Dileep Udara from PickMe while Director/Chief Executive, Sunil Dissanayake, Chief Engineer/Deputy Director, D.P.K. Sirimanne, Head of Finance, Aruna Dharshana and Head of Business Development, Reservations and Events, Ms. Devanthi Ambuldeniya represented the BMICH.

Director/CEO of BMICH Sunil Dissanayake said, “With the BMICH association with PickMe, we have been able to add another value adding facility to our customers enhancing our portfolio of value-add services.”COO of PickMe, Isira Perera said, “We are pleased partner with such a significant organisation in the country to uplift the convenience of our passengers and drivers, when they opt for PickMe for their day-to-day transportation needs.”
