The Vietnam Embassy in Sri Lanka held a Film Festival at the National Film Corporation Tharangani Theatre, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7 from June 23 to 25.
Mass Media Ministry Director K.P. Jayantha read out the message on behalf of State Minister of Mass Media Shantha Bandara at the inauguration ceremony on June 23. The welcome address was delivered by Ambassador of Vietnam Ho Thi Thanh Truc.
Secretary, Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Somarathne Vidanapathirana, Ambassadors of Palestine, Thailand, South Africa, Indonesia, Bangaladesh , Myanmar, Australia, Iran, Switzerland, Romania, Malaysia , Vatican and a representative from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China were present.
The film, ‘Dreamy Eyes’ will be screened for the public today (25) at 3.00 pm.
