The Indian Naval Submarine ‘Vagir’ and Pakistan Naval Ship Tippu Sultan arrived in the country strengthening the close co-operation between the navies of both countries. Their calls at Colombo has fostered brotherhood between the two neighbouring Navies and Sri Lanka. The visit of both vessels were co-ordinated by Indian High Commissioner in Colombo Gopal Baglay and Pakistan High Commissioner in Colombo Major General (R) Umar Farooq Burki in coordination with Colombo authorities.
