Former Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Rohitha Bogollagama has been appointed as the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom.
The appointment has been made with effect from the 1st of August.
He was served as the Foreign Minister of the country from 2007 to 2010. He has also been chairman of the COPE Committee. Mr. Bogollagama also served as the Governor of the Eastern Province from July 2017 to December 2018.
