The Commercial Bank of Ceylon celebrated Poson with a traditional ‘Pahan Gee’ recital performed by a 30-member choir composed of staff of the Bank. The event at the Navarangahala, was attended by many present and past staff members and their families. Representatives of the Bank’s corporate and senior management, including Chairman Prof. Ananda Jayawardane, Managing Director/CEO Sanath Manatunge and several directors were present.
Popular musician Jagath Wickramasinghe was the guest artiste and sang devotional songs with the Bank’s staff. A special feature of this year’s recital was that many of the devotional songs performed by the choir were produced for the Bank.
