“On with the Show” featuring the Soul Sounds Academy Vocal Department and directed by Soundarie David Rodrigo will be held on June 2 at the Bishop’s College Auditorium at 7.30 pm to raise funds for the Girls’ Friendly Society’s Hostel Building Fund.
The Sri Lanka GFS was set up in 1904 and the hostel was opened in 1957 to assist girls coming to Colombo for employment. Over the years, there was a great need for such facilities and the GFS plans to improve the present hostel to offer more girls safe accommodation.
The telecommunication partner is SLT/Mobitel and the travel partner is Acorn Travels, both under the gold sponsor category. The beverage partner is Watawala Tea under the silver sponsor category.
