President Ranil Wickremasinghe has made all services related to supply of electricity, health care, fuel and petroleum products essential services via gazette extraordinary 2332/12 dated 17 May 2023. Gazette was issued under the powers given to the President under the section 2 of the Public Services Act.
This announcement has been issued under the signature of the President's Secretary E. M. S. B. Ekanayake, by order of the President.
