Minister of Justice Wijayadasa Rajapaksa says that as per the instructions of the Maha Sangharatne, necessary steps will be taken to enforce the Sangha Court (Sandhadhikarana) Act with new amendments.
The Minister said that it will be possible to solve the problems arising in religious affairs through the enforcement of the new Act with its amendments.
Minister of Justice Wijayadasa Rajapaksa expressed these ideas while attending a ceremony held in Colombo and indicated that there is ability to formulate the necessary laws to protect the dignity of the Sasana in a short time, with the improvements, if further time is being given by the Maha Sangharatne.
