Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are discussing ways to strengthen ties in the maritime sector, said Bangladeshi State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury yesterday.
He was speaking after bilateral talks with Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Aviation Nimal Siripala De Silva at the Bangladesh Secretariat in Dhaka.
They discussed the signing of a Coastal Shipping Agreement (CSA) between the two countries.
