The working committee of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has unanimously decided to present Sajith Premadasa as the presidential candidate for the upcoming presidential election, through an alliance led by the SJB.
At a meeting held yesterday (08) the working committee decided not to work together with the government on any issue. Discussions have been led with regard to SJB Members of the Parliament - Harin Fernando, Manusha Nanayakkara, Diana Gamage and A.H.M Fowzie. Member of Parliament Lakshman Kiriella mentioned that the working committee also decided to suspend Fowzie’s party membership.
